My spellcheck takes l33t as a real word, but rejected l44t. It boggles me. Deeply. My soul hurts.

It has become fairly clear to me that I’m not going to be blowing the six hundred bucks it’d take to recover my drive. So that means I’m starting from scratch on a virgin page and pretending the last several years of entries don’t exist. Mostly I have to write a bunch of stuff for English class and I decided actually writing anything is the most productive way to procrastinate. I also found a bunch of stuff I wrote when I was off in the bush that I’ll throw up here as well.

Anyone who knows where I can find free recovery tools for a hard drive formated for Solaris on Sparc (apparently there’s a difference), please email me. I still can’t believe my hard drive died in the middle of me copying my backup off of it. If you don’t believe me, because the ironic richness is just too much, ask Erik. He was there.
